President Olive welcomes November, reflects on October's fellowship, World Polio Day and member contributions, and points members toward upcoming visits, Home Hospitality and a joint fellowship.
This Monday, the Rotary Club of Kampala North convenes for a Club Assembly at which members will consider three important Board recommendations.
On the agenda are the First Quarter Financial Report, the revised Financial Management and Procurement Manual, and the proposed agreement with Protea Hotel Kampala.
Celebrating Young Leaders — And Reflecting on Our Own Responsibility
As Rotary celebrates 64 years of Interact, Uganda's young leaders continue to demonstrate the power of service and leadership.
For the Rotary Club of Kampala North, however, this year's celebration also invites some honest reflection. Our Club once sponsored four Interact Clubs, but those relationships were not sustained.
November brings opportunities for fellowship, service and learning, both within Kampala North and across the wider Rotary family.
From our Club Assembly and project visits to the Vocational Visit to KCCA, Home Hospitality, the Africa Zone Institute and our joint fellowship with RC Kampala South, there is plenty to look forward to.
